FoFF’s 2024 Policy Report found that a lack of housing, especially for employees and ranchers who live off-site of their operations, was a common barrier for many small-to-medium farmers and ranchers. Housing resources, such as Hacienda CDC, can help assist those navigating renting or buying a home to help alleviate this issue, in part. Hacienda CDC’s services include connection with affordable housing, financial/housing coaches, and down payment assistance.
